The link between Jose Gonzalez and John Ford

Six Degrees of Separation:

Tom Joad, the main character from the John Steinbeck novel & John Ford movie The Grapes of Wrath, has apparently even inspired through Woody Guthrie, Bruce Springsteen & Rage against the Machine the new Jose Gonzalez band Junip. The fifth song of their first EP is called The Ghost of Tom Joad (orginally a Springsteen song) and let's see if Junip will equal the success of Jose Gonzalez' solo material, which is literally everywhere these days.
